Caraway teamed up with Box Clever to create the company's flagship ceramic-coated non toxic cookware set. The goal was to design cookware that challenged conventions. The product and the physical brand experience was designed to be better at every opportunity.
Designing cookware to be an everyday essential that integrates more seamlessly into our homes was a way of reframing the opportunity. We focused not just on the core product but imagined what a holistic experience might be like and how that might speak to the attributes of the Caraway brand.
Caraway cookware is an elevated experience. Beautiful colorways, carefully tuned proportions, clean modern lines, and thoughtful details for improved usability across the full line of products.
Our team considered the full user journey, use - cleaning - storage, designing touchpoints to fit the hand effortlessly, details that improve the cooking experience, and developed accessory solutions that created delight for pan and lid storage.
As a direct-to-consumer brand, we designed the cookware set’s packaging system, to ensure the brand attributes of quality and modern design lived through into the out of box experience.
We partnered with Caraway in 2019 and helped established their brand in 2020, with their first product line of cookware sets.
Business growth has been rapid, allowing extensions of the line to now include singles, additional accessories, and exciting new products in the works.
