The Client's Challenge
From flimsy tools to plastic components, standard bar sets fall short. Caraway asked our team at Box Clever to design an elevated home bar experience for clean cocktail making: non-toxic, premium tools, all expertly crafted for the perfect pour.
The Bar Set consists of a Cocktail Shaker, Muddler, Jigger, Strainer, Bar Spoon, Wine Key, and a Storage Organizer.
The Strategic Approach
This one was fun. Our design approach extends Caraway’s ethos of clean cooking, with thoughtful design and material choices, to deliver clean cocktails! All core pieces are made from a singular, beautiful material - ultra-durable, corrosion-resistant, professional-grade 304 stainless steel.
Making cocktails is joyful and emotionally engaging. Our team went beyond designing the core pieces, and created a removable birch storage base and display curtain that elevates the experience, from your countertop or bar cart, to table presentation and celebration.
Shaken and Stirred
Every piece of the Caraway Bar Set has been developed as a unified design system, with every object born from a deep understanding of the purpose and physical experience. This new collection is derived from a repeated ‘soft pill’ design motif, a new visual signature within the Caraway Design Language. It is adjusted and scaled appropriately for the main performance element of each piece.

From the top of the shaker that suggests where to hold and the direction of pour, to the textured muddler head that maximizes controlled extraction of flavors and aromas, to the stirring spoon head that blends from the perfectly balanced long stem - this ‘soft pill’ form creates a controlled yet organic language.
