Engadget’s official ‘Best of CES’ Trophy celebrates the exceptional technology, talent, and brilliance on display at the eminent Consumer Electronics Show held annually in Las Vegas.
Box Clever initially redesigned the trophy in 2017 to provide an adaptable platform that can facilitate changeable annual editions. The 2018 trophy speaks to the shifting colors of the Nevada desert and the ethereal, gleaming digital displays that permeate our modern culture.
The initial 2017 redesign took inspiration from Engadget’s pioneering spirit and relationship with revolutionary tech, pushing the original idea of a ‘light bulb moment’ while maintaining an element of Las Vegas style.
The quadrants represent the four main judging criteria: innovation, design, market appeal, and functionality.
